Interests: Jesus. you just can't put anything next to him without it becoming completely unnecessary and undesireable. my passion lies in Christ's bride- the church, and in the hurting. i will probably be some type of missionary at some point- overseas and here in the innercity. But the less awesome interests in my life are things like: music, reading, photography, djembe (its an african drum) guitar, writing, the stars, theatre, art (really any kinds, performing and visual) philosophy, see... i want to be really artsy and cool but i can't ever seem to get to that point in my artistic abilities.... its cool though- i also like playing in the rain and my mom's apple pie! my crazy animals, my even crazier friends, ice-sickles (eh- w/e) and carpentry (or the smell and its finished product)

| hey all! this past week has been so beautiful and illuminating. yes, i said illuminating. Jesus has taught me rediculous amounts about Himself and His Father and about telling others about Him. I listened to Jay Pathak at Breath (a festival for Joshua House, the young adults at Vineyard- check joshua house out) and he gave me such a desire to know more about Jesus! I decided to go down this creek and sit in the middle of it on a huge rock and just read in Luke for about 2 1/2 hrs. it was so sweet. i only got through chapter 5 though! it has been good getting to know the Jesus whom i want to share with everyone. Sarah Kelly was there- she was so real that night. it was great because she played almost all new songs- some were so new she had to bring out her journal and use the words. she talked a bunch it it was fun to listen. afterward i felt the Holy Spirit tugging me to pray for her and so three other people and i prayed for/with her. it was a good opportunity. she actually said, "you would be surprised how often that doesn't happen." as in, people rarely ask to pray with her. OH! and p.s.- she really really really needs help on this next album- IF YOU LIKE SARAH KELLY'S MUSIC, MAKE SURE YOU BUY HER NEW CD IN ADVANCE! this would mean so much to her.

then, after Breathe i went to teen camp. i wanted so much to meet everyone and love them! honestly, that is what i was excited about there. i did get to meet seriously about half of the camp, (so much fun) the relationships started and opportunities to pray for others were bountiful. one thing i learned: the most beautiful flowers are amidst such unworthiness and danger because there they shine the brightest.
after i came home from camp, my family and i went out to dinner at Lindy's (my sis works at Brovo so we got a big ole dicount) for my parent's 25th anniversary! it was so good to be with my family! i love them. i wore make up and straightened my hair--gasp! it was fun to get all dressed up to go out with them, i havn't done that in a while.
i have gotten to have some quality time with Jesus (it's always quality) learning about all the beautiful things he did. the rest of this week has been work and hanging out with Natalie and working on Teddy's gift (which is finished by the way). oh- and i got to run with my sister today! that was so good! i love being with Katie.
 sisters are good. being around them creates such an enviornment that is home to me. they make me laugh and teach me to live in new ways. thank You, Jesus, for my wonderfully great sisters!

| something else i realized today- i can get sucked into this xanga thing for hours... not a good sign- i may have to be careful- my entries may be sparratic- but will still be here! i just like it so much! some one has got to keep me accountable! | | |
|  so, a couple of days ago it stormed real bad here. i cant resist, and i rushed to get outside to take a walk in the rain. however, i didn't get out there soon enough, so i ended up taking a walk w/o the rain to brookside park. just hung out and prayed- it was pretty sweet. then, God brought me another storm that i got into! i walked around, stood in the street, did cartwheels back to my house.... it was a good time! i definitely enjoyed it. also, yesterday i went to ceader point w/ my youth group. it was a good time- i learned some things, (gimme a call to chat about this one) and i have decided that my favorite part about theme parks it not the rides at all. it is getting to spend hours upon hours just being with my friends (with some excitement every now an then). that is why mcdonalds on the way out of town was probably the best part of the whole day; i got to see even more friends from out of town along with being with all my NW friends! God is good to me.

| i just found this new band, well they just left a comment on my xanga... but that's how i found them. they are called Grass Withers. not sure if they are Christian yet, but i plan on emailing em to find out. i like their stuff either way! check em out at Grass Withers' music good stuff!
so, uh, my dog looks like a burrito from chipoltle. hehe- he is so fat!

today, Jesus did a pretty sweet work on my heart- if you wanna chat about it, gimme a ring! He is faithful. Always.
